Port welshpool fresh bait

Post by FishHunter81 » Wed Dec 11, 2019 6:37 am

Hi guys. Heading to welshpool in Jan and was planning on doing some bait collecting pre fishing along the sand near the jetty. Just wondering what is usually pumped from there as I haven't done pumping for bait before. Cheers in advance

I haven't pumped there but the place is full of squid.

Same as Dougie. No idea about pumping, I'd try to get a squid or two instead. Great bait and great to eat.

Cheers. I'll give it a go anyways. Yes I know all about the Sandflies from last year. I'll be taking it.

If you can't get squid at welshpool I'd suggest finding a different hobby.

Yep. Even the boat ramp jetty has plenty of them
