Back to donuts at Paynesville

Post by ango » Thu Jan 23, 2020 8:08 pm

Hi all,
I went out from Paynesville yesterday to have another crack at the duskies, and just when I thought I had it all figured out, I ended up without a single bite after giving it a good go all morning. Like they say, if it was easy it would be called catching rather than fishing. Maybe all the rain shut them down, they had 75mm at Bairnsdale, the water temp was up to 20.4 degrees so I was expecting some action. Ah well, there's always next time.
Cheers
Ango.

You may have just learnt something else about “the code” without knowing it...it may be better to sleep in on those days when the barometer is so low. You would have been doing it tougher than usual today. I’m sure you’ll smash them next outing though mate.
