Port Welshpool report

Post by snorkly » Sat Jul 08, 2017 3:25 pm

Spend last night (07-07-17) at Port Welshpool jety. There was an insane amount of tailor around. Also barracuda and yellow tail scad. 4 of us probably caught 70-80 fish in total. Kept some for feed and released most back. Nothing big, between 30-35 cm. Tonight they gonna be grilled on charcoal bbq with olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon juice. Tight lines!

It was on bait mate, small pieces of pilchards, they didn't touched anything else.

Snorly was that the long Jetty or the others closer to the boat ramp. Didn't realise the long jetty was back open.
