Kilcunda report

Post by Kosta7 » Sat Aug 19, 2017 6:32 pm

Went to Kilcunda this morning for a quick session. Conditions not the best with strong Southernly, lots of weed and murky water from the rain. Fished closed to the rocks for a few hours. Lost a couple of rigs from massive weed so I thought I try metal lures. Didn't have any luck so went back on the baits. By that stage my burley was finished. Downgraded to small long shanks and put some white bait. Within 5' got a couple of nice sambos just above 40cm. About an hour later got another one just a bit smaller. Kept trying with plastics and metals burn nothing.

Happy man
:victory:
Btw how do I upload photos here? They all seem to be above 5mb

Was this at the first beach as you enter Kilcunda ?
Opposite the pub basically ?

No it's a bit further down towards Wonthaggi. There is an old bridge on your right and small car park
