Quick fish at inverloch pier

Post by Nathan_867 » Thu Sep 21, 2017 8:59 pm

Went for a quick fish at inverloch pier tonight
Was low tide and was using pilchard as bait
Got two trevs , a tailor and a small flatty within half n hour. Throw the tailor and flatty back. Kept the two trevs they wore delicious. Biggest trev was 37cms
Was a good quick session. :)

Well done mate! That pier is hard to fish because of the current. Hope they tasted as nice as they looked

Surprising last night the current was settled while i was there but the water did get a bit dirty but that didn't keep them away. And i just filleted, skinned and boned them.
Then crumbed them for a snack. They tasted great
