Seaspray report

Post by Kosta7 » Sun Sep 24, 2017 6:24 pm

Decided to spend the weekend at Seaspray with my youngest one, hoping to do some fishing. Saturday weather was perfect, with minimal winds and temp almost 32c.

We fished close to the caravan park and target species was salmon. However kept pulling flatheads one after the other. Sizes between 30-45cm. Initially thought I was catching duskies so I stopped at 5, as this is th bag limit (realized much later it was bluespotted flatties  ). Ended up catching/releasing about 10 within only a few hours.

Unfortunately, weather didn't last and big gusts and rain arrived for the rest of the weekend.

Nice Catch
It's been a while since I've been to Seaspray (almost 2 years). Awesome LB spot off the beach for Sambos & Flatties. My PB Flattie was caught there at 58cm :-D
