Fished welshpool yesterday for a nice feed of flatty, 37 fish all up ranging from 32cm-53cm. Threw back around 20 or so fish that were undersize or under 30cm. Conditions were perfect in the morning until the tide change and wind decided to turn the Franklin into a washing machine, so came back on the other side of the lewis and drifted around for a couple of hours. Plenty of banjos caught in-between on the bigger rods, a small gummy and an ocean plug that i couldn't get up on 80lb braid....... bitten off plenty of times on the lighter gear not sure if the tailor were around or barracuda, or just big flatty. plenty of action all day, was good to get out before the colder weather gets here.
cheers
Nick
