VERY HUNGRY LIZARD

Post by Paulanderson » Fri Apr 13, 2018 11:20 pm

This Flathead definitely had eyes too big for its belly. The Bream was 45 cm. From East Gippsland Fishing Reports.

One massive frog.
Was the bream alive when it was eaten?

I know atleast with live poddy mullet that the flathead suck in the poddy mullet and descale it and spit it out then eat it again.

Wonder if its the same with bream and there scales

Fake news?

I saw a photo of a mullet eating a whale.

Good day,
I suspect it's fair dinkum. A few years ago I came across an identical situation on the shore of Bob's Bay at Bemm River. My recollection was that the bream would have been a good 25cm and the dusky pushing 70cm. Bit off more than she could chew!

Looking at the other photos on Facebook it doesn’t look 9kg, looks a lot smaller
