Mallacoota in July
Hi there, have been to Mallacoota a few times in the past but never in July, does anybody out there have any tips? Have a boat but also taking surf gear. Will be staying at the Foreshore Holiday Park.

Should be bulk amount of trevally and tailor in the lake and salmon off the surf beaches. if its bream your after try vibes or plastics deep off the back of Goodwin sands or on the deeper rockwalls in the top lake. flatties will probably be slow but you should be able to pick a few up as by catch

Thanks fishmagnet, sounds good, the mouth of the estuary is closed, apparently has been since December, will that have any effect?

He say they go hard at that size? I have only ever caught them up to around 50 cm.
