That’s what it’s all about
yeah we still had a crack at the fishing haha but damn that wind was bad. We tried to walk to different parts of the Narrows but was still pretty windy.

Just did a bit more sight seeing, the pub and food was great at Marlo Pub and heaps of Koala's down at Raymond Island to see.
When you said the narrows, caught between the dunes & the hill in that wind I'm shivering just thinking about it. :notworthy:

Can't speak for the Bemm, haven't fished it for months, but the estuary at Marlo has been hard going to find any fish for the last month or so.

The best spot for bream at the moment is up in Lake Curlip but you'll need to work hard for them.

The estuary itself is producing a few Luderick and occasional small tailor.

The surf beaches are fishing ok though. I fished Point Ricardo on Tuesday. Plenty of small salmon about and an odd tailor or two.

It's a good time right now for some whale watching. Quite a few moving along the coastline.

By the photo you were in the wrong spot.
Bottom left corner of photo closest to the beach is the spot to be, but then again with the wind I don't blame you. :notworthy:

yeah thats were we fished last Nov at the river closest to the beach. The wind wasnt just the issue as it was blowing a gale but the water was so high it was right up against the dunes so you couldnt walk anywhere
