Also, any prawns about there? Is the entrance open?

Lx , sure was a good fish.
Brag mat doesn’t lie though, just held well for the snap.
Been getting lessons off purple?

Ha ha ha ha ha I am so funny!!!!!!

Great news on the prawns and the entrance though! About the only inlet that's open atm

We were camping down at the corringle slips and was fabulous for a campsite.

A large group of my non fishing mates accompanied us, and the plan was to stay for three nights/four days and get as much fishing done as possible.

the first night had me flicking a 110mm Squdgies Biotough wriggler in Bloodworm around camp.
Well after dark and a couple of rums.
Third cast , I felt a tap and let it pause for a bit till i felt some weight and whacked into it.

after a short fight , my new PB Dusky was on the bank . Going 64cm , was a cracker!

The beach was just over the hill and the swell was really pumping. Quite quickly , after a series of misfortune events, my slidebaiting for a shark dreams were cut short rather quickly. While I was mucking around and trying to salvage some line on my birdsnests, Alex was braining the salmon on a slug.

I caught up to him eventually and we spent the afternoon with a few more fish being landed on a slug. Dropped a couple of good ones in the surf too :o_0:
The beach fishing itch out of the way, we turned our attention to the estuary.

Myriad of fish were caught, from tailor , silver trevally, bream (main target), estuary perch .
We got em off the top, we got em off the bottom, we got em in between.
We got em in the open, we got em in the snags , we saw them on downscan , we saw them on sidescan.
Plastics, Hardbodies both worked a treat. Topwater strikes being a highlight, i managed to get 2 flatties on topwater, the larger being 51cm

We got dusted on some snags but thats bream fishing on 3lb !

Enjoy!
P.S. Alex going to chuck up a report too, its a special one!
