Lakes offshore charters. I was helping out. Granddaughter came along as apprentice. 2adults, five kids fishing :o_0: It was a very busy day for me, baiting untangling. Kids all caught at least one fish.
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.

Took my granddaughter out for a fish on the charter boat. She is becoming quite the fisher. Fishing in 45 mtr so no easy task pulling 40+ cm pinkies up. For her two week stay, she had 3 salmon, 5 pinkies, 3 flathead, plus a bunch of other non eating fish. 2 trips offshore no seasickness. Taught her the basics of driving the boat and how to get back home, plus how to use an epirb. Told her she has to take me fishing when I get old. :water:
That the way to go.

Most do 6hrs. Didn't know anyone was charging $250.
Lakes offshore charters is around $1250 for the boat for 6hrs. Up to 10 people. Pretty hard to fish 10, mostly fish 6. Others have different prices and add individuals to other groups. Only 3 operating offshore at the moment. Far out and seamyth being the others.

Great to see the young lady getting right into it :r

And even better to see a Grandpa have time for his Granddaughter. She has gained so much and she shall remember these 2 weeks with her Poppa for ever and ever. Well done :a_goodjob:
