Wimmera River Jeparit
Marvelous day for an arvo session, so packed up the boat and hit the river at Jeparit. Fishing baits and plastics it was a slow session, 4 Redfin in about 4 hours. Largest was 35cm on plastic, retrieved dead slow, one other on the plastic and the the last 2 on worm on the bottom. There were several other hits, but the bites were less than enthusiastic due to a low water temp. about 14.5 degrees, the fish themselves were in great condition, and another visit after some hot weather will be on the cards. :dinner: A recent addition to the boat ramp has fixed some of the access issues, it's great to see improvements to the area as a result of license fees being used for fisho's
My hobbies are fishing and golf, I guess I just like frustration..

Good work, fishing may have been slow but sounds like a good way to spend the afternoon - and you ended up with a nice looking feed too. :a_goodjob:
