Post by PDXSerric » Tue Apr 04, 2017 2:56 pm

Well, had some success this year, including a fattie redfin out of Lake Jubilee, but I think I am ready to give local streams and rivers a chance for wild trout. Any suggestions on decent holes in the Grampians area? I'd even be willing to go East Baccus Marsh and as far South as Geelong. Soft plastics, hardbodies, either or...

Decent fishing from shore? Or can you rent a boat or something there?

Cheers!

You know, I drive around Hepburn lag. Couldn't see a direct path to the water other than cutting through a paddock. Have you been there?

I have attached a photo... I think

There is a gate which you must open, drive in, get out and close to stop the sheep running out, then when you go and park there is another gate to get in which is the same process,

I will upload the article tonight!
