Rocklands easter trip 2017

Headed to Rocklands again this easter for a week of fishing family fun, and as usual it didn't disappoint.
Headed up on the Monday before Easter to glendinning for a week of fishing and yabbying and trying to relax for a few days, there were that many fish this time and we did not need to travel far from the ramp to get them.
The week went very quick and over the course of a week the camp would have boated a few hundred redfin, we kept enough for a feed and released around 3 times what we kept, by the last day all the fish had been eaten by the camp. The Reddies were taking worms / live baits and plastics, all that was required was to find the schools on the sounder and bang you were on.
While the average size of the fish was down from last year there were still some great size fish caught with the biggest for the week going at 42cms.
The Yabbies were crawling well at night as well with plenty of yabbies for all.
All up another successful trip and already looking forward to next Easter
First Mornings catch
Second mornings catch
The Kids all got into the action as well with some good size reddies
Little reddies were smashing plastics left right and center, had to fight through the small ones to get the better fish
The old man chipped in with some decent bags over the week
Stopped taking pics of fish after the third day
Even the locals were getting into the action!!!
Sample of the yabbies caught, we used the redfin frames for the hoop nets
Some of the fresh bait used the second day, stopped collecting live bait as they were going just as well on plastics
Last day sunrise, it really is an awesome area
