Wartook

Post by Apples » Sun May 14, 2017 6:22 pm

Hi guys went to wartook for the weekend. Nice and cold to be expected, went out early Saturday morning, trolling around most the morning with only 1 hit.
Came back in had lunch, when back out a few more hours of not much happening, then around 3:30 - 4:00. My son got hit hard on a stump jumper it was a big red fin. Dropped at the boat as he tried to pull it in rather than waiting for the net.
We keep going with trolling and soon after the pink tassie devil got hit. My grist ever brown trout 37cm. We ended the day with 5 reddies and the one trout. All in all a great trip. Just take a lot of warm clothes. :-D

:nicefish: , well done, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
