There are huge fish in lake wendouree, caught a 64cm brown trout on a savage gear hard body no too long ago. Also, apparently the biggest aussie reddie of 2017 was caught there I think it was 55-60cm cant really remember though. Either way its a great spot to fish. :thumbsup:

I dont think the view could get much better
its always nice first thing on the water at wendouree. especially in winter as the fog lifts off the lake :thumbsup:
my last few trips there the reddies have barely had any fish in there stomachs, mainly small black and orange yabbies, although they were all caught on fish pattern lures (both SlimSwimz and bibbed HB) around the 3" length
