moorabool reservoir

Post by gordo65 » Thu Nov 09, 2017 5:09 pm

went early to moorabool today for the first time - what a place - beautiful weather- plenty of activity - mostly small redfin - few browns - - walked around to the right hand side of the reservoir , plenty of trees/ snags in the water, had the old trusty waders on even though signage says " no wading " ( why? ) had plenty of takes on a small vibrax red spinner - 7 red fin /4 brown - all fish too small too bother about / let them grow - is my moto  - will get back here again for some bigger targets :water:

Nice report mate it is a nice lake and apparently has BIG reddies in there.
