Great fish there Trev,and great to hear that your doing your little bit for the future by returning them to the water. I know plenty of people who would have kept as many as they are allowed, personally I probably would have kept one for a feed too and returned any excess for another day.

We were fishing the yabbies on a running sinker rig and using a fishfinder to see what depth the fish were at. So generally the yabby was suspended somewhere in the water column, or if the fish were down deep we had it a bit off the bottom so it couldn't crawl into rocks/snags.

GMW have issued new warnings for boat owners after the low water is now producing tree hazards just below the water level

New PB yella (44cm) taken at eppalock yesterday in about 15ft of water, on a yabby fished tight among the snags.
