King River
Yesterday arvo I spent a few hours fishing the King with lures. I planned to fish into the dark with surface lures, but was still tired from the previous all nighter so I decided to come home on dark.
Sections of the King have recently been affected by the heavy rain up that way a while back. A number of banks have collapsed silting up some holes:
In about three hours of fishing I picked up two cod both about 40 to 45 cm on lures:
Brand new spot I hadn't fished previously. So if you want to find fish Google maps is your friend!
Best Wishes

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
