Damn
Today me my mum and my mums friend went down to Avoca and only managed to get one cast in before the rod split in the middle and didn’t snap it kind of frayed and split in many different places hopefully we can find a spot to buy a rod it was a three hour drive here too

When you're traveling with your gear it's worth making a rod tube out of pvc so you don't damage the rods in transport (which is when it almost always happens)
Hopefully you can get another rod and get a few fish mate! Good luck!

nah it wasnt in transport it was was with me in the back of the car and it is a 2 piece rod and made sure tgat that anything gets on it which is what i alwags do to protect my rod. I got a new jarvis walker combo for 45 bucks which didnt cast very well even with braid the rod was a bit of a noodle rod and the reel was useless and it had too much line on it so i ended up going back to my stradic and hooked a couple but lost them all to snags which sucks ill send photos of rod soonSinsemilla wrote:When you're traveling with your gear it's worth making a rod tube out of pvc so you don't damage the rods in transport (which is when it almost always happens)
