Loddon River 12/1/18

Post by Sprinkles » Mon Jan 15, 2018 12:03 pm

Hey all!

A friend of mine took me out to the Loddon River over the weekend in search of some Cod.

Only hooked up to one cod, but the leader snapped just before we could net it! Caught a few 35cm+ yellow bellies though so wasn't a bad day.

I was using a 20lb braid with 20lb mono leader and 5/8oz spinnerbaits.

Good work mate, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Nice work. What section of the Loddon were you on?

Parked near Bridgewater and walked north. Fished about 4 or 5 different spots over about 7 hours!

:nicefish: Nice work! Think ill go there and give it a go tomorrow, not to sure where i can fish and where i cant though, a lot of it looks like private property from what i can see on google images.
