spent the morning fishing expedition pass reservoir, nice place , clear water , plenty of small redfin caught on soft plastics :water: - fished the back end away from the dam wall , need to invest in a kayak- few people turning up and having a swim ? didn't know you could swim in the reservoir

The reservoir is no longer used as a water supply and is now popular for fishing, canoeing and picnicking. It's a great spot for the family to enjoy a swim in the cool waters.

Yeah, made the mistake of driving there for a fish to see if I could catch a perch not long back. Mistake was it was a warm day and there were swimmers there. Used to be some good reddies in it up to a couple of pound. Don't know if its just me but they all seem small now.
