Echuca

Post by kenzie101 » Mon Mar 19, 2018 8:44 am

Hi,

Had planned to meet the group at the cod weekend but my wife made a secret late booking at a resort in Moama. Had a great time staying at Perricoota Vines. Had a quick fish on Saturday in the Murray and landed several Silvers, Carp and Cod in a 90 minute session.

The resort has its own lake and your balcony sits over the lake. You can fish from your balcony. We caught lots of carp, my wife enjoyed that and my sneaky long term plan of getting her to enjoy fishing is starting to come together. How much fun can you have with a can of corn and a loaf of bread.

A great place to stay.

Murray was fishing well, all land based. Just a matter of access without having to assail down the bank and climb back out. Not good with a dodgy knee as Dave witnessed. Target the holes, dropoffs, eddies and snags and you do ok.

Mark.
