Morning on the river
I went down to one of my favourite parts of the Goulburn this morning for a few hours to find a Yellowbelly.
Closely followed by a 50cm Carp
then a small Trout cod,
Yabbies weren't earning their keep so I tried a lure and bang, a 48cm Yellowbelly on a Taylormade lure,
The wind cut up rough so I called it a day, a morning well spent, cheers davo
Using worms and yabbies left over from the Bonnie Doon trip first fish landed was a 30cm Silver Perch on wormsClosely followed by a 50cm Carp
then a small Trout cod,
Yabbies weren't earning their keep so I tried a lure and bang, a 48cm Yellowbelly on a Taylormade lure,
The wind cut up rough so I called it a day, a morning well spent, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Re: Morning on the river
Nice yella Dave. Did it give you a good tussle on the lure? The silver isn't a bad fish either.
I'll have to get out there soon. Counting down to December 1 when I'll have a bit more time to wet a line.
Best Wishes
