Yeah definitely carp I would say, caught a few there on plastics and vibes and the fact that the lure came back with mud on it tells me it was a carp but I would be happy to be proven wrong.ducky wrote:Yeah it is where you think it is. Five years ago it was rare....But I seem to catch one on a lure every 3 or 4th session now.

As there are a few days left in the year thought I would have another attempt at my first yella on a lure. The usual channel at Shepp East. Fail!!!! (got this 'disappointment' on a purple Trikfish SB, cod about 43 cm's) Whilst I did not meet any of my goals this year, in some regards this year has been fairly good.
Caught more cod on lures in the last several weeks than I have in my life!
