Post by chad43 » Thu Dec 18, 2014 1:06 pm

Hey Guys,

I will be heading up to Lake Mulwala early next month and was wondering if anyone had a good tips and suggestions on what lures / spinnerbaits to use.

Will be fishing out of a boat.

Appreciate your feedback.

For what it's worth i seem to have the most luck there & in the river nearby using black/purple or red/black. hb's or sb's.Trolling along the edges of the old river course is always worth a shot.

Jackall pompadour, mantis kingfisher, ballister hunchback are the 3 I have. Pompadour is my favourite but they're $30 each. Hard to lose though.
Cheers, Scott.

If it's big enough to take it under the log it'd be worth it!

I was using the pompadour the other night at nude ups secret cod spot...it works as good as any surface lure imo.

If you troll with them they are just abt impossible to lose...except if a big cod rips u into a log....but thats what were doing it for anyway ! :a_goodjob:
you gotta hav a crack even if yr just pissin in the wind
