ripper work Gav, i reckon i know that exact spot. got my pompadour stuck in the reeds directly inline with that tree on the second cast. had to bust off, walk back to the car, drive 15min round to the other side of the river and talk to the landowner to go retrieve it. it looked super fishy.

Na the other side isn't private property I walked it one day n it's almost 1hr walk from where I parked the side I fish is only 15min from the car buts it's a rough walk

I've ventured out of my local haunts a bit more this year.. all it's shown me is how great the fishing is in my own backyard haha!

Fished the ovens at bundalong last weekend for 12hrs not one fish casting/trolling all damn day.. plenty of wake boats up n down all bloody day

I also lost a pompadour at the spot u reccomended! Gave it to my mate thinkin he wouldn't lose it but what do u know.. I had been wrong before n I bet I'll be wrong again -.-

Hey mate even in a hurricane (aka port Albert breeze) I can still manage to pull in a few trevalley

Probably gonna have to pass on the cod trip yet again.. I keep saying next year but stuff always comes up.. I've already to committed to 8 trips for the cvlcss plus some trips with the club.. even had to bail on the annual trip to Eden boys head up Sunday!
