Goulburn river fishing
Ventured out again with Truedogz tonight to try another spot. Will was on the board early with a small cod
Then I followed with another small cod.
We were pestered all evening by small cod and silver perch plus the occasional small yella. I got snagged by a decent fish, most likely a yella and Will pulled a couple of cod around the 40cm mark, this one off the surface on a floppy.
Things went quite so we decided to give it another 30mins. About 10mins in I hooked a 45cm Yella to finish the night,
a lot of small fish but a good outing anyway, cheers davoIt's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Re: Goulburn river fishing
I went through two packs of worms and a fair bit of cheese feeding the tiddlers! I enjoy catching silver perch if they are good sized, they fight very well. But these little blokes, after your cheese had been in the water five minutes it looked mice had taken chunks out of it. The better fish were caught on shrimp. In the dark we both heard a boof as a cod on the other bank took something off the surface.
Another local had fished the day before and not got a bite!
Best Wishes

Well done guys, some of the fish may have been small but it kept things interesting for you waiting for that big one to come along.. :water:
Good signs for the future with so many small native fish around too.. :fish22:
cheers
