Macquarie perch in the hills

Post by MickCov » Tue Mar 21, 2017 6:25 pm

I went up to a favourite spot today and bagged 5 maccas.
I find they almost always like to bite when there is a storm or rain on the way!!!

Nice one mate, I used find the same thing with maccas. Half an hour before a storm hit they'd lose their minds, once it hit you'd get to enjoy the walk out getting saturated!

Thanks mate. They were hot for about 3 hours after sunrise and I think being the wary fish they are they stopped biting once the temp rose a little.
