Sand-bank slammer

Post by MickCov » Sat May 06, 2017 5:49 pm

Caught using scrubbies on a size 12 hook, ultra light line and smallest split shot I have.As usual caught before the storm hit, halfway down a sloping sandbank...Typical mountain stream setup.
Also got 1 small blackfish but with winter coming on I know they will be one the bite soon,so can't wait for that!
Thought I would get home in time to watch the pies demolish Carlton, :-D should of kept fishing :(

It's ok now
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
