Hey guys, i'd like to try a soft vibe this eildon trip and considering either the Zerek fishtrap or Berkley Shimma shad. I've heard soft vibes go well for yellas has anyone used them? Favourite colours and sizes? How do you fish them?
Cheers Matari

I would definitely go for the zerek fishtrap out of those options, I have had some issues with the shimma shads. I don't really run them on the yellas but a few mates do, a lot replace the trebles with stingers and colour wise the jackall ghost black red belly is hugely popular in the transams and the brown dog and noike gill colours are my go to's in the tn range

Don’t forget to take along some zx40’s as well,
They’ll sip them off the bottom on a long pause

There is always more to learn , fish to catch , places to see and friends to make.

"Sip them up from the bottom" that is a great way of describing it.
I'm learning that the art of "lure" fishing is a complex, broad knowledge based craft. You guys truly have me amazed with all the things you guys know and discuss

Hope we inspire you to leave the bait rods behind for a session or two.Bugatti wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 9:51 amsmokin_reels wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 7:08 amDon’t forget to take along some zx40’s as well,

I’m working on a land based bait fishing snapper quest at the moment, the learning curve is interesting
