Barwon Heads 13/09/18
had a cheeky monday off work so i decided to go down and hit the Barwon Heads for the first time and see if i could get anything on soft plastics, high tide was due about 3pm so i got there around 12 and fished up the promanade and back then hit the jetty for a while. A few other people were on the jetty fishing. One bloke caught about 4 salmon in a row right before the slack tide, one of the salmons was measured at 50cm. I caught on decent salmon but the bugger jumped off the line before i could skull drag him up. when the tide started running back out it got a wee bit diffusely to keep the plastics swimming right so i called it a day. great spot will def fish again.

It was a fun arvo, good to meet you and talk plastics and fly, although I'm only claiming 49cm on the big Sambo!
