First Salmon in the Barwon

Post by johnnycjay » Wed Aug 15, 2018 5:48 pm

The Barwon has proven to be a bit of a enigma since I moved down here but the old girl smiled on me yesterday in a howling Northerly with a cracker salmon on a red and white rattler.

Fished the little pier along the edge of the channel. Nothing like walking past old folks eating afternoon tea with a bloody salmon in hand.

Kids are devouring it for dinner.

Ps has someone done a welfare check on Mr Barden...he hasn't been spotted in weeks.

Cheers

John

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
