I just think they haven't switched on 100% yet. I remember last year was a lot more productive (for me anyway). This year on the other hand has been a little hit and miss. Still think its a little early though..

I would love to/& would fish there so much more, just if it wasn't so much of a hike for me :/

There was a lot of hype as you said, as many were caught the previous evening/night.

We were waiting too - ended up with 5 just on dark.
