Hi All,
Headed up the coast again on Saturday. Ended up at a rock ledge after Lorne. The water from above looked cleaner and deeper. 2 of us fishing, each with 2 x Surf Rods each (12') & reels to match. Bait was predominantly Pilchard. Did flick some lures but the fish weren't there in great numbers so no success.
Set up one of the rods with a Paternoster and the other a Running Sinker. Caught a few great size Salmon. The bigger ones all seemed to take the Running Sinker, which isn't usually the case. Photo Below, the two are 50cm+ (sorry about the ugly foot, just to way to help make it easier to identify size).

Some good size there would have been nice by the surf on a hot day
