Post by Boydwilliam » Mon Jan 04, 2016 6:58 pm

Hi guys happy new year.
This week im heading down to geelong to visit a few friends. Ill have some spare time to do a bit of fishing. Can anyone suggest where i might be able to get onto a few flatties or a squid? Ill be landbased.
Thanks!

All over Geelong should find you flatties and small pinkies (St. Helens, Mackey Street, Cunningham, Waterfront)..

Squid, not too sure about as i dont fish for them often but as Bowl said, i have heard St Leonard's and Queenscliff can be productive.

For Flatties , the Grammer school Lagoon (Hovels creek) often produces some nice fish in the evenings & with the odd chance of a quality Pinkie Snapper.
