Point Roadknight

Post by Jdware95 » Mon Jan 30, 2017 1:23 pm

G'day all,

A mate of mine has a small tinny he built himself (about 12 feet long). Beautiful time of the year, we were thinking of heading down to Anglesea (I have a house there) and trying our luck. I searched the forums already but didn't really find a heap of designated info on this area so thought I'd start a new thread.

Personally as I am landbased I've fished elsewhere and never fished the beach at Roadknight (either inside the point or outside). Was just down there the past week and took note of several boats out in the protected bay fishing.

Just wondering if anyone could give me some helpful tips or info on this location? It's quite shallow closer to the point but seems to drop off a little maybe 500 metres out or so. We aren't fussed about what we catch but some whiting and flatties wouldn't go a stray - is it worth chucking a bigger bait out the back...? ;-)

thanks guys.
