Post by PDXSerric » Tue May 30, 2017 3:59 pm

Hey all - just interested in any tips and pointers for any good trout fishing in local streams and rivers for spinnerfishing. Any suggestions?

I'd also recommend waiting a few months before fishing for trout in streams, can't really help you with locations for streams as all my stream fishing has been in the east thus far.

I've got this book and it's a little outdated (last published in '06 i think) now so don't take the listings on what kind of fish and the quality of said fish are available as gospel. Some streams are better than they indicate, and some worse, and some contain surprises that they tend to gloss over a little. That being said, it contains a heap of great info and spots to try.

You do realize, that it's "closed" season, at the moment ???
No fishing for trout, in streams, until 2nd of September.

The bloke didn't say he was fishing tomorrow. Find an alpine stream you will find trout.
