Bad luck then good luck

Post by denis barden » Mon Sep 11, 2017 6:16 pm

Out at queenscliff 0500 yesterday_sunday.Spent 4 hrs chasing squid but no cigar .Water dirty
Back at ramp Mr Fisheries again-im like a magnet to them, The officer advise me that lake conawarree was pushing a lot of fresh muddy water into barwon heads out to bass straight where it gets dragged into the bay thru ppb heads.
I went down to ocean grove this mornin and yes the barwn river is like the murrey river-dark brown
Went back to st leonards and caught 5 squid and 15 Whiting some 400 long
Only started to bite on dusk, fishing near green stich out from boat ramp
