Clifton Springs GPS Marks

Post by Trumpeter » Fri Nov 03, 2017 11:31 am

Hi with the wind predictions looking pretty average for St Leonards over the next few days, Clifton Springs should be ok in close so I was hoping someone could pass on some Squid and Ting marks for the area.

For whiting anchor in front of the dell in 3 to 4 metres (to the right of the boat ramp you can see the old pier pylons) and for squid anywhere in front of the ramp (before you descend down the hill stop and have a look for the weedy areas there is heaps of spots to drift over)
Good luck

Last few trips out there I've got a nice bag of flatties easily just try drifting around the mussle beds plastics and bait both work. Haven't heard much about the whiting except that they are quite a few small just size ones around will be bigger ones if u look around. Try out the front of the ramp in 5m or so and towards curlewis. Squid are caught easily in that area try toward point Richards look for the weedbeds around 4m or so red jigs kill it around there shouldn't be to hard to bag out on squid if u get onto them
