Queenscliff harbour

Post by Kenle » Sat May 12, 2018 6:56 pm

With crappy weather lately i tried a sheltered area at Queenscliff harbour today. There were few others out there and got onto a few whiting and squid. Water clarity was not too bad despite the heavy rain, managed to snag my limit of squid and cut a small one up for bait. Great idea as i managed couple nice King georges a medium salmon a tommy rough and a juicy silver trevaly. Rain started pouring soon after and i took shelter in one of the cafe and enjoyed a hot cuppa till it passes. Once rain stopped i filleted up some pilchards and dropped straight down along the harbour, had a ball on luderick and a nice wrase. All up a great few hrs had in a beautiful location.

Good work but those striped fish are angelfish a close relative of luderick, the luderick have 10-11stripes and have pure black eyes and are a longer body fish, the angelfish pull pretty good also sounds like u had a ball
