Barwon river 16/9/18

Post by lauxyboy » Mon Sep 17, 2018 7:53 pm

Gday guys and girls,

Went and fished the Barwon yesterday, boat motor is fuc$ed so new one is going on Wednesday, ripped the old
One off and threw the old mariner 15 tiller on the 4.8 metre half cab, slow town but hey we’re still fishing and launched at 3:30,

Headed straight for sheep wash burleyed up and got
Into a bait sesh,

10 yellow eyed mullet, 2 salmon and left them biting, and moved towards the mouth hoping for a bigger sambo,
Last of the run in tide just on sunset still plenty of tiddlers, chucked on the secret weapon bass yabbies and the light rod I was using buckled over and a nice model Trevor (Trevally) came on board, tide promptly changed then it was tide against wind so fishing the burley trail was hard, few more smallies that went back and it was home time right on dark,

Few showers but the wind was light till the last 15 mins and plenty of mosquitoes,

Cheers LAUXY
Got a catch foto but ****!d is I know how to attach it, fishing’s my game not computers
