Torquay
Hey fishos went down to Torquay yesterday and when around the front beach off to the right on the rocks, started with bait but walked out and was all rocks and very shallow. Bugga this so waited a bit so the swimmers would go away and started of the beach with a metal slug. I bought some from Kmart and looked pretty nice. Then bang some thing was dragging it and then took off. Bloody ray. It took me out about 200-300 meters then snapped the line. Went in and got another slug and nothing, waited until about 4 and went out with bait still nothing. I did see a little salmon as I was walking out and got excited that I found fish, went home without a lure but a mad story

Re: Torquay
At least the effort wasn't a total non event. I hate carp, but im happy at least when nothing else is on the chew to have a tussle with one. Cheers mate.
