Another box ticked

Post by Matty H » Sun Jan 20, 2019 7:34 pm

With a favourable forecast all morning headed out from fishos at 6, great conditions. Fished approximately 2ks out, eventually boating the first kingy I've landed in Victoria...., was actually my mate who caught it, and really just a rat, but fought like hell. 3/4 hour later I hooked up, only to have a seal sneak in and crash our kingy party.... next on the list is a tuna...

Congratulations. It's a great feeling. I landed a few on my first attempt a few years ago but haven't managed another since! That's fishing. Do you mind me asking where is this "fishos" you speak of? I've not heard of it but I don't fish the west coast.

Just the launching beach at Torquay. Nice quiet day down here today. My new phone is too fancy...., doesn't automatically reduce pic size, can't attach photo of the fish...!
