Twenty Nine Mile Road Jetty-Point Wilson

Post by Raulfc7 » Sat Nov 16, 2013 8:10 pm

Hi Guys

Does anyone know if the jetty at the end of Twenty Nine Mile Road is fishable in Point Wilson. Is it open to the public or is it private land

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure it's an explosives pier.

I'm pretty sure it's an explosives pier too. No public access.

Shame it's off limits, it would be our version of Busselton Jetty in WA.

Wow. That's awesome and a train to take you there. Even better. I have fished a lot up and down the coast of WA but never fished there. I will one day now seeing that on google maps.

It's still being used; there is an enforced exclusion zone of 300m around the pier. Rumour has it that some quite large slimy trevally congregate there in July/December...
