Clifton springs

Post by bowl » Sun Nov 25, 2018 10:54 pm

Being a tad windy today, i thought I'd venture to Clifton Springs as it might be somewhat protected from the wind
Was was bit blowy when I arrived but fishable.

Fished couple hundred Meters straight out from the old pier at Clifton Springs n started to get bites pretty much straight away.

Was using BOWLY's special paternosta rig.
Was a lot of just legal ting which were thrown back.
Using kL 1o hooks I was slowly lifting rod N then a slow retrieval was best method for hook ups.
Tryed out deeper, but could only manage one legal pinky.

Nice n quiet at ramp on Sunday ..perfect...

You fish that area a lot, why not try to do a deal with Marios and stock up on a few bags.. he's got the best pipi in town.

Still no snapper?, you should give Reedy's rigs a go, might help you catch one ;-)
