There is big sandbar in middle, goes pretty much dry.

You've got the sandbar across the bay, it's broken to the south by the shipping channel but back in the days before the channel it was possible to walk/wade across the bay at low tide and everything shipped to Geelong had to be bought in via a shallow draft tender.

Inside the sandbar there isn't a whole lot of structure but it drops down to 10m in places, around the Grammar School Lagoon and the north side of the bay there are a lot of shallow seagrass beds.

Brown Trout: 37cm
Flathead: 51cm; Squid: 36cm; Australian Salmon: 51cm; Snapper 46cm; Silver Trevally 23cm; KGW: 45cm
