St. Leonard's report sat 21 jan

My mate rings and says you want to hit up St Leonards ? I says do bears crap in the woods ? after uncountable banjo's and puffer fish only managed these two keepers, my buddy also caught two same size as mine and the mates young son got a couple of average size squid, very quiet night and only a handful of squid caught by others through he night, condition's were perfect, south westerly from 5 to 10 knots clear skies, incoming tide ( you could see Melbourne clearly ) the sting rays were out in force cruising around the pier, some of the big black ones were I estimate 5 maybe 6 feet across ? it was entertaining watching them pick up the pichards we dropped in the shallow water, fishing wasn't great but better luck next time..
