St.Leonards

Post by Ekaz3556 » Sun Jun 11, 2017 7:31 am

Hello all
Been lucky enough to score a house for a week starting next Friday so will be taking my 4.2 metre tinnie for a play in the salt. I have fished here before usually just drifting between the boat ramp and the yatch club and getting flatties and a few squid. Never really tried for whiting but am told if I head out to the third green stick, down near swan bay entrance I assume, I might get lucky. Keen to try for some garfish, I have the rig, but no idea on technique , should I float some berley , park above some weed, what depth water etc. will let you know how I go but would much rather be there than working :)

Thanks nude up, I will see if any reports get posted over the next week :)
I am happy to fish if it rains but wind can stop me :(. There are few spots you can sneak into that are sheltered so I will try them if it blows up. Love getting down to the bay as I can never get a bite locally out at eppalock. 1 week off work is great fishing is a bonus :)
